If this kid gets a jumper, he's going to be unstoppable. Middleton has got to teach him some form.

Dude is a legit point guard out there. Like he's not just padding assists, he's completely controlling the tempo/flow of games, reading defenses and making great passes. I saw a stat the other day where the Bucks offense with Giannis at PG has an efficiency of 109.1, which would be good for like 3rd in the league.

He's averaging 20/10/8 since being given point forward duties with pretty much no jumpshots. If that jumper comes around I honestly think he has MVP potential.

His defense has been terrific too, averaging like 2 blocks and 2 steals a game in the same stretch. He's guarded everyone from point guards to centers. There was a game against Minnesota where he played point guard on offense and played center on defense. Think about how insane that is. KAT had 17 in the 1st quarter, we put Giannis on him, he has 4 points the rest of the game.

Porzingis is still rookie. Ante has been around for a few years now. Both are deserving of hype, but it is different.

Giannis came in a year early, KP a bit late. He's only like 7 months older than KP. Only 2-3 months older than Wiggins and Jabari, younger than Randle.

Also, while some of these elite prospects at a young age were playing high level ball for their age groups, Giannis was selling watches, wallets, etc on the street to help his family buy groceries. Didn't even start playing basketball until he was about 14.

Development wise you could argue he's far behind any of these other young players.

oh me. oh my.

replace MCW with conley this summer, add some shooters for depth, continue developing the young guns and that team will be scary to get matched up with

6'11 point guard. The numbers he could average in the coming years are godly.
