I know you're trolling, but I remember last year SHAQisGOAT tried to tell me Jordan is a better contest dunker than Lavine :oldlol: Dude got so salty about it, went into some irrelevant rants about how he was a better player and how Zach would never be shit in real games, etc.

These two both just put on the greatest contest performances ever IMO. At the same contest.

Don't know, but MJ free throw dunk is still goat, live dribble all the way, that means something.

Gordon and Lavine brought back the dunk contest. Now it means something again.

Good thing Lebron didn't waste our time:cheers:

Fundamental dunks

No gimmicks

Didn't the dunk contest mean something last year?

Didn't the dunk contest mean something from the mid to late 2000s?

Didn't the dunk contest mean something in 2000?

Tonight is quite light on gimmicks though, especially those two contenders.

It was the fact that two superstars were up against each other. There was this air of intense competition between the two. Wilkins was the better dunker for sure. MJ had to pull off something miraculous in order to win.

MJ and Wilkins were great for their time.

And since both were super-stars, and played the same position in the same conference, it meant a little more.

I'm not sure Lavine even averages more than 10 ppg. Same for Gordon.

What happened tonight happens every year for High School dunking contests.

What made the contests Michael, Wilkins, Carter, and Dwight were in different than this one was that they were All-Star caliber players doing great dunks. They both go unnoticed in the regular season and bring no hype with them besides the fact they can dunk.

The dunk contest needs superstar players, if the format wasn't changed in 2014 we would have had a better contest.

There's been a ton of no name dudes like Harold Miner.

MJ vs Nique was unique because they were stars, same with Vince, but BronBron is too concerned about losing to TRY winning.
