Who's better?
Both have the ability to break down the defenses and finish in the traffic..Wade was more athletic while Kyrie is the craftier one.

Prime/Peak ofc...Currently Wade can't even jump :facepalm
considering we haven't seen Kyrie's peak yet.

Kyrie shoots around 60% at rim on a year-to-year basis
Wade is around 67% every season with a 75% season high

We can simply look at the shot charts and it shows Wade by a decent margin. Actually surprised Kyrie's finishing last year %s wise wasn't that elite.

I'll say they're almost on the same level of actually finishing the shot. Wade just gets assisted on more of his at-rim shots because of his cutting ability. His ability to draw fouls helps too. In the end, Wade's just more efficient because he has better IQ. Kyrie forces more. They're both elite.

You have to remember that you're comparing a below-the-rim PG to an above-the-rim SG. It is no coincidence that bigger players generally have higher efficiency closer to the basket when compared to little guys. Wade isn't exactly Shaq, but he can still get up when he needs to. Kyrie tends to be on the perimeter when he starts to break down defenses, not working off the ball resulting in wide open oops, back-cuts, etc.
Wade also likes to leak out and I'd bet he finishes in transition far more than Kyrie. That "leak out" finisher on the Cavs tends to be LeBron.

Totally agree, that's why the comparison is stupid.

While I say Wade was better at his Peak, Kyrie is still getting there and I actually enjoy watching Kyrie drive more than Wade, he's just so crafty and it's almost unbelievable the shots that he's able to get to go down with all those defenders draped over him. If I had to choose a slasher for my team though (based on that and nothing else), I'd have to go with Dwyane Wade

Wade. His glass work wasn't as pretty as Kyrie's but it's more effective. Wade could get over and through defenders, Kyrie mainly(not always) goes around them and gets his spot on the backboard.
Kyrie is amazing to watch though. Last night he made a wide-open layup and got oo's and ah's because he unnecessarily spun it high off the glass, lol.
Wade prime. Maybe kyrie is better now, but I would have to check

they were/are both fun to watch. Kyrie has the better ball handling and because of his size he needs to find creative ways to avoid getting blocked. And he's really good at that. Wade was more athletic and could posterize a defender with a dunk or get an open lay up with his euro-step. Close call...

Nope, both of those are from 2010 if I'm not mistaken. The Bulls one for sure.
2010 Wade is a funny discussion. He showed up out of shape and unmotivated because he was pissed Riley was giving him trash for teammates, and quietly averaged 27\7\5\2\1 in the regular season and 33\7\6\3\1 on 56% FG and 40% 3PT in the playoffs.

It'd be pretty amazing if he was the favorite against the Boston Celtics with Chalmers as his 2nd best player in the playoffs. :applause:

I don't think he was pissed at Riley per se. He knew that the Heat were going to make some big moves in the off season, he was just frustrated he was wasting another year of his prime. I think he also knew that Beasley wasn't the guy the Heat hoped he was when they drafted him.

put it this way. if you were a c/pf whose job is to protect the basket, who would you fear more coming into your territory? i think the answer is obviously wade.

They are both very skilled finishers with a soft touch but prime Wade's size advantage, quickness advantage (close though), and significantly better leaping ability give him a solid edge. They didn't call him Flash for nothing. He was one of the most elite and athletic 2 guards of all time.

Yes, the 2010 Heat were the favorite over the NBA Finals runner-up Boston Celtics, who had home court advantage.

Wade put AV in the hucklebuck. Nikka's ankles was behind his head after wade got done with him. Then steps over him like Pippen over Ewing.
