Simple question. Has Lebron stopped getting the calls the refs used to give him all the time. He can barely buy a foul when driving. Half the time it's blocked nowadays but the other half he usually gets a foul
Call, except this season he no longer gets it.

Yes, but he doesn't deserve them if he can't shoot outside of 14 feet.

Are you kidding me? At least 3 fouls he got I didn't agree with today. Including that one in crunch time that Green stripped him clean.

In general yes, but he got the calls today tbqh. Numerous calls went his way.

And if he is going to stop working on his shot, the refs are the least of his problems

gets the same calls.. and also seems to get even more leeway with the whole crab dribble thing.

His jumper is just broke so he isn't getting the same space w/ defenders sagging off him.

12-14 LeBron is so much better than current LeClank it's not even funny. I expected him to slow down because of declining athleticism, not declining SKILLS. Isn't he puttin in work?

Not a joke thread. I would argue almost no calls went his way. And yes, that draymon "block" was a fouls. You can't hit someone in the face and rip the ball out of there hand and call it a block.

Anyway. In past seasons he got the benefit of the doubt almost every drive now it seems like he barely get it.

He also looks very weak every time he takes it to the basket now.

As a big time Bron fan, lately defenders are allowed to be super physical with him. However, he gets benefit of the doubt on traveling and fouls he (potentially) commits.

Honestly, he's gotten so many calls over the years it's about time he's not getting them as often. But he still whines as much as ever.

Yeah just read Andre Drummond is the only play with more free throw misses in the clutch than Lebron

No bias on your part. You can't use your off arm to create space.

He gets away with tons of push offs so it evens out.

what do you mean, "thats all i got"
thats all i need to say.

sure he may do it more, but that point is null. the refs don't call that against anyone so why wouldn't you use it more if the refs aren't gonna call it.

False.

He gets the same level of calls, but he is less athletic and has less burst. Speed and agility are what creates fouls for him (e.g., Kevin Martin and James Harden).

Nowadays, when he drives he doesn't get a shoulder past the defender. The defender is usually still in front of him or right next to him. When you don't create an advantage with your blow by speed it makes it much easier to not foul.

He is still an amazing athlete, but the top (possibly ever) athlete he was from 2004 to 2010 is no longer the reality. He was drawing fouls so easily then because of his ability to go full speed and change directions so easily. No, especially in the halfcourt he simply doesn't have that quickness of body movement that creates those microinstances of inbalance on a defender and leads to fouls.

Harden is at his prime foul drawing athletic peak right now for example.
