22 points in the first quarter. We have two Lillard's. Basically swap out Lillard's quickness advantage and CJ is a better offensive player.

Swap him and Steph Curry and he's got a ring and MVP.

You saw that Memphis series last year didn't you?:lol

Been saying for two years this kid had game. His brother dropped something like 80 in an overseas game. These dudes are ballers.

He's going to take Lillard's MVP votes. Too bad.

Love seeing him be aggressive. He keeps shooting when hot and he's getting good looks too. He just missed two good shots. Wide open two, and in the paint floater. He makes those and he's at 28 points not even half way through the third quarter.

Meyers Leonard is going to be good too.

i had seen flashes of this happening last season, and im expecting him to be the 2nd option behind lillard during the season. he has alot of offensive potencial. how his is vision/passing game and overall D?

He was crazy impressive in preseason as well. I played him in my draftkings lineup tonight and he's gonna double my money... no thanks to Durant or Harden.

Defense is bad. Passing decent. He has good vision just doesn't look to create offense for others in part because he gets to such go places on the court. He should be looking to score when he gets the ball. He's way above average at creating his own offense.

the few things i saw were mostly around his scoring potencial, im really not surprised there. Maybe with him settling down in a starting gig during the season he will start looking to pass a bit more(trying less to prove himself), especially if u say he has good vision. It would be important to remove a bit of the burden on lillard's shoulder, and considering lillard himself is far from being an elite passer at PG position.

D takes a bit to get into i guess. u guys arent gunning for playoffs anyways, shouldnt be a big problem

I like this kid, but I wonder what's the chances this ends up being his career high.

Just saw his highlights on NBA TV. He's an awesome shooter. Curry got some competition.

Definitely a good Matthews replacement, just needs to work on his defense and toughness before he gets to that level.

I just want to say I like Ed Davis. He's a solid rebounder that kicks it out to guards. He also does a nice job cleaning up misses at the rim. I hope he doesn't mind CJ and Damian chucking up a ton of shots because those misses are going to be his to put back up on the rebound.

Ed Davis needs a new agent. Got guys like Tristan Thompson making $17m per year, and Davis took a 1 year, $1m last season with the Lakers, followed by a 3 year, $20m with the Blazers?

If I was Ed Davis's agent, negotiations would start at $10m per.

Sorry, undersized SGs who don't play good D or aren't combo guards just don't do it for me.

My beef with him is he's inconsistent while being a chucker.

He had a great game last night but I feel he's going to have some very bad shooting nights as well.

He can make up for this by passing the ball and playing better defense.
