Looked around a little, few google searches, didn't see anything, so I thought I might make this thread and update it after I have accumulated all the numbers (Not including Los Angeles)

It's sparse, Stockton was a machine and played 82 games pretty much every season

He only played 60 or so in 97-98, so I am going to calculate that up first

If I am not mistaken this is also a Malone MVP season?

What is evident, is that when Stockton returned, the team started winning a lot more games. This is what usually happens when a good player returns to a team. Clearly, Malone was playing up to standard without Stockton it would appear.

unless this is an attempt to prove that the triangle offense is better than the Jerry Sloan offense

can't say I feel like getting into the whole Malone/Pippen all time ranking debate right now.

it's subjective.

What's subjective about it? Malone is much better all time than Pippen.

Stockton rarely missed games.

And Malone is highly underrated.

As you said, Stockton barely missed any games, so the sample size is too small to really make any significant evaluations. He was one of the GOAT PFs and everybody knows that, but the sample size is too small to make any new meaningful conclusions based on these stats.

I'm sure the averages are in there somewhere but it's not worth my time trying to read that messy shit.

Point is: both Malone and Stockton were incredibly talented basketball players, with games that fit perfectly, and they so happened to play with each other for most of their careers.
