I'm asking this because even the media seems to have acknowledged that he's going to be resting more than ever this year, yet they still picked him as their MVP favorite:

its actually comical

kobe has a better chance at mvp this year than lebron

1 guy plays with 3 other stars

the other plays with 0 other stars

1 guy wants 2 months off

the other wants to play tomorrow

1 guy is saving himself for the finals

the other is saving his team from another lottery

1 guy wants to take nights off

the other wants to play 48 minutes and all 82

1 guy checks himself out of games

the other checks himself into games

if kobe can play well this year and make the playoffs. i see no reason why he shouldnt be ahead of lebron in mvp voting

then again. its the media... nevermind

I put money down on both KD and CP3 for this season. Both at $20+ when I placed.

Who said he's going to rest?? LeBron won't play for Team USA in the 2016 Olympics. Even if the Cavaliers win the NBA Championship in June.

we'l see

last time he was healthy he was 1st team all nba

kobe hasnt been 100% since the 2013 regular season. if the achilles gains its strength back and kobe manages his minutes well ... i can see 24/5/4 on 44%

which is top 10

its easy to rank an injured player. they all stink

Incredibly unAmerican of him. Jordan did this in 1992.
