Durant is smart - he's a skilled player with great 1-on-1 moves and shooting ability, so he recognizes the same skill in other players.

And he knows that MJ getting his buckets off-ball fits into any team, especially a team with other great players... If you put Lebron at SF instead, the team is forced to play Lebron-ball and they invariably disappoint.

Btw, you guys can understand Durant's stance right?... Lebron is considered the best player in the game because he made 5 straight Finals - but we know for a FACT that Lebron misses the Finals in 2011, 2014 and 2015 if he was in the West like Durant.

Durant has been stuck in the brutal West, toiling away... Meanwhile, Lebron traded in his team-hopping credits for a couple rings and made a bunch of Finals in the weak east, which got him credit he didn't deserve.. But now Durant has paid his dues - the karma and time is right for Durant to expose the cheater Lebron... It will happen.

Your salt is crazy. He won two championships with good teams, regardless of how you feel about the ethics of it. Get that bball moral s**t out of here, seriously. MJ's bulls teams in the 2nd 3peat were better than any of LeBron's. Larry Bird was on a GOAT team his whole career, so was Magic Johnson, and KAJ ended his career with the lakers showtime.

But he wouldn't have those rings if he didn't team-hop - anyone can seek out the very best talent and team-hop to win - therefore, why should Lebron's 2 rings be a reason for his superiority over Durant?

3rd grade level thinking by the media... that's why.. Durant has been the better player since 2014, and he will be the remainder of their respective careers.

Not from a talent standpoint.. Lebron had Wade, Bosh, and Allen - 3 HOF's... MJ had Pippen and Rodman... 2 HOF's.

Kukoc is cancelled out by the extra HOF, Allen... Harper and Kerr are equal to Chalmers and Cole talent-wise... Also:

Pippen in 1996-1998 Playoffs: 17/7/5 on 40.8%
Wade. in 2011-2014 Playoffs: 20/5/4 on 48%

1. The point is that once LeBron had a good team -- like EVERY other NBA player who EVER won a title -- he won two of the three championships he SHOULD have won. Period. Larry Bird was on a hall of fame team and was never ever required to be everything for the celtics. Didn't he like, not win one of the FMVPS? What does the circumstances of a team coming together have to do with on-court production and actually winning the title?

He was on a bad team, then he wasn't. How he ended up on a good team DOES NOT MATTER outside of your ridiculously biased narrative.

2. Wade clearly was not the same player in 2013-2014. He averaged 15.9 ppg in 2013 playoffs and 17.8 ppg in 2014 playoffs, dropping to like 13 ppg in the finals. Bosh averaged 12 ppg in the 2013 playoffs and 14 ppg in the 2014 playoffs. Wade and Bosh simply did not play like hall of famers because of injuries and random other stuff, idk if you noticed this, but they also didn't make the playoffs this year. Bosh missed a lot of time, but they weren't headed toward any better than 6th seed, and in the east with two players who are supposed to be superstars, that is awful. LeBron was doing all the heavy lifting in both historic playoff runs. MJ's role players played their roles perfectly. Pippen could always hold it down on defense and Dennis Rodman is the GOAT rebounder. They both did things that made the game easier for MJ. Wade and Bosh ... didn't. You knew what you could get from them every game. Harper is much better than Norris Cole ever was, c'mon. Kukoc was money in the 1998 playoffs as well.

3. Judging anyone off championships is pretty silly, too much of it is circumstantial. If Yao Ming and Grant Hill weren't so injury prone, TMAC would have made plenty of deep playoff runs, but they did get injured, so he gets labeled a loser. Considering how relatively short Magic Johnson and Larry Bird's careers were, if they'd been stuck on bad teams for 7 years like McGrady, they'd be seen as losers too.

LeBron was NOT clearly a worse player than KD in 2014. They were neck and neck as far as advanced stats go, but LeBron got the best of him at least twice during the regular season. I'd say that 2014 KD is definitely better than 2015 LeBron, but I don't know how he'll be after his surgery. We'll see though, because Westbrook outplayed Durant in the 2014 playoffs.

We'll see.
