Wouldn't be surprised that if the name changed, it would decrease the value of the team.

How up to date is this OP? Because The Kings value has skyrocketed ever since Vivek took over. He has made huge inroads into the Indian market. I remember reading somewhere that the Indian exposure has increased the Kings value by 55% I'm pretty sure they're hovering around where the Mavericks are just about... Maybe higher.
