Warriors
Spurs
Clippers
Thunder
Rockets
Grizzlies
Cavs (only title contender in the East)

Can someone tell me what the point of even watching the East is? One title contender in the whole conference :oldlol:

Maybe people like watching the whole NBA ?

There's also only about 3-4 true title contenders every year.

I see 6 true contenders barring significant injuries.

Fact is, there aren't gonna be many high stake games or suspense in the Eastern conference this year.

Cavs, Chicago, Indiana, Miami and Atlanta?

But you're right, in reality, the Cavs are the likeliest to win it all out of those.

The best I can hope for is Cavs vs Miami ECF :).

It would be embarrassing if they didn't, considering they get 3 bye rounds while the western powerhouses kill each other.

Let's not be prisoners of the moment here, East is pretty stacked when you think about it

All of them are mid tier treadmill teams.

Grizzlies aren't a true contender imo.

Miami has a nice starting lineup and can surprise but Wade is a huge question mark.

Grizzlies don't belong in the same tier as those other teams, IMO.

Also, I think the Bulls will be a lot better this year and we all have yet to see this rejuvenated Miami team at full strength. The East should still be pretty interesting to watch come playoff time.

Lol at the Bulls, Heat, Hawks not being loaded themselves.

Which of the Warriors, Spurs, Clippers, Thunder, or Rockets would those three teams beat?

In a seven game series, maybe the Bulls have a shot. Maybe. Im being generous.

This right here just tells us how dominant Lebron in reality is. You put Lebron on the Heat, Atlanta, Chicago and any of those teams immediately becomes the clear cut best team in the East and a strong candidate to win ti all.

And before you all start screaming how loaded and ''stacked'' the Cavs are and that Lebron has ''too much help'', ask yourself this question, if Lebron was on any other decent(mentioned above) East team that team would be clear cut favourite in the East and Cavs without Lebron wouldn't even come close to the Finals, forget about sweeping all the previous rounds and losing only 2 games more than in the previous year like it was the case with the certain player who gets his dick sucked by 3ball daily. So if Lebron's teams are stacked, how stacked were GOAT's teams then

Lebron should really only play for a coach like Mike Brown and with a second option being Beno udrih or something, maybe just maybe that would be the time when people wouldn't be calling his teams stacked :oldlol:

I wish Bron was on a West team.. he'd finally have the upper hand in a finals series. Deez West teams all too stacked :(

This topic is so old and pointless.
The Rockets are not contenders. No one thought they would even get to the Finals.
And the Clippers have never made it to the WCF, let alone win a championship.
If they're contenders so are the Bulls and Hawks.
Warriors had a cakewalk facing all teams without their pgs. Keep up the lame agenda tho.

What a stupid logic. Add any superstar in the league to the Heat, Atlanta, or Chicago without taking anyone off the roster, and they become just as good as the Cavs.

Jabari is coming off an injury. Not sure when GA will become a star. Team doesn't have much spacing at the moment.

if whiteside keeps developing, the heat will have a legit chance at getting to the finals.

dragic
wade
deng
bosh
whiteside

very cohesive starting 5, with a great bench backing them

I'd definitely take Miami over the Grizz going into next season, I'd say they can contend with any of those teams on that list.

I watch the East because the Celtics are in the East.

I order League Pass because the West is awesome basketball.

Grizzlies aren't a true contender imo.

They don't have enough offense/shooting to win it all but they're still very dangerous.
