you forgot bigger which is the most important aspect of this matchup. can curry keep rose from driving and posting? what exactly would curry do to rose that would give him the edge? rose already played curry this year and shut him down defensively.

I'm basing this on the fact that Rose is a terrible shooter. that alone should give Curry plenty of opportunities to close in or take the lead in the game. Curry is probably going to play off of him. theyre close to the same height but Rose is stronger. But not strong enough to the point to make is post up attempts, automatic. atleast in my opinion

I think Rose still has a significantly better first step and is all around quicker, Every time D Rose attacks the rim you wonder if he's about to have a season ending injury so Curry gets the nod

A guy with a quick first step that is bigger, stronger and more athletic is a major problem one on one.

Curry's craftiness is better suited for 3v3 and 5v5. In a 1v1 tournament I'm not sure he finishes in the top half for NBA point guards.
