Nice off season so far for Sac Town. Maybe they can finally get back in the post season hunt. They now have a decent starting lineup and bench. A lot will depend on Rondo and Karl/Cousins getting along.

It all depends on Cousins growing the **** up and I wouldn't count on that.

Could be a hint that Sacramento is ready to move away from the era of Cousins. This signing gives them insurance in case they do plan to pull the trigger.

They couldn't offer him even half of the $8 million a year the Kings did.

I wonder what the Kings' depth chart is gonna look like when it's all said and done. I doubt they trade Cousins.

Brandon Bass and Gerald Green would be boss. Teletovic, too. Still need a backup C (say Koufos, since he's played w/ Karl) and another PG, unless Andre Miller re-signs.



Now just trade Cousins for Faried + Lawson or Randle + Russell and we're all set!

This is a good signing by the Kings. Koufos is a solid player and this deal should look very cheap going forward.

Though he would have needed cooperation from Mavs/DJ/Memphis, I thought GM Doc could have picked up a nice piece in Koufos this summer.
