Honestly, I'm starting to reconsider my evaluation of him. Crazy defensive era, awful offensive talent around him, slow, disgusting pace to the game.

No, my opinion of Bron has.

LeBron is not validating anyone but himself.

What the **** does Allen Iverson have to do with anything?

Not comparable.

Iverson wasn't getting 10 rebounds and 10 assists per game to go along with it.

Iverson didn't even score this much and didn't grab 12 rebounds per game and 8 assists with good defense.

01 sixers had less talent than these cavs. Stop being delusional.

Your right. It's not comparable. The guy was 6'1, 165 lbs, and shitted on an entire league. So damn good he took shaqs MVP. Bron is 6'8 and 270.

This board has gone full retard comparing these players. Only on ISH.

So having the COY, DPOY, and 6 man of the year is less talent?

Yes. Lebron's roster is way more talented. If Love and Irving weren't on the roster the cavs would not be number 2 at all which means no finals in the first damn place.

He's currently beating a 67 win team with the league MVP with this roster. You really don't think he's making the Finals against significantly weaker competition? He swept the best team in the East with Irving scoring 26 points total in the entire series

Like I said man, lets see Lebron play 82 games without Irving and Love especially with back to back games man. I doubt that they would be in the position that they are now.

Speaking of Iverson, yes, I have more respect for him now.

I really believed that with today's more efficient offenses, it would be hard for him to have done what he did today. That is, lead a defensive team to the Finals, almost single handed.

But with the Cavs approach, they are showing that a tough defensive team with a rim protector, offensive rebounders, physical play can change the nature of a high powered offense to one that is scared and on the defensive.

Just like old school basketball.

Come on bro switch LEbron for AI and the sixers win the chip at least once

Seriously though. Feisty, elite team defense, mediocre hero ball offense. The 2015 Cavs have become the 2001 76ers, with LeBron as a 6'8" 250 pound Iverson.

How ironic James said AI was actually his favorite player growing up, now he's playing just like him.

Nope. Always had mad respect for AI. Most 6ers games from his days there were grindouts with both sides shooting low %'s so if you're doing that every game... Yeah your fg% will suffer. Who cares? He was phenomenal regardless. And although I don't like to give players more/ less credit for what they do on the court just because of their size, I couldn't help but be in awe of a 5'11 160 lber putting up multiple 30 ppg seasons. Constantly playing injured. I mean AI was one of those guys who genuinely play every game like it's their last. If he was able to limp onto the court semi-upright you bet your ass he's playing.

Iverson put up 33/7.4 on like 54 ts% in 06 at 30 years old. And although I feel 2006 had all time level lax defense trying to adjust to handcheck ban, a peak Allen Iverson will be a beast right now with much better efficiency than the early 2000's.

:oldlol:

Soon they will actually be asking for Lebron to play the whole season 1 on 5, not be tired, and win the championship.

Come on bro switch LEbron for AI and the sixers win the chip at least oncegoing to have to respectfully disagree. AI's 6ers had terrible spacing. Iverson made it work because of his small stature to split doubles, quickness, and decent midrange. Don't get me wrong, lebron is a much better, more impactful player; the early 2000's 6ers just weren't built for him. Lebron might do marginally better, but he won't beat the Lakers/ Spurs coming out of the west. He will make multiple finals In a row if you give him AI's supporting cast caliber guys that fit his style (3 pt shooters and defenders), but he won't do much more with what the 01 6ers actually had.

Nor playing that type of defense.

This lineup is literally the guys that Melo couldn't make the playoffs in the east with.
