You keep hearing about Towns growing up in NJ as a DIEHARD knicks fan and that it would be a dream to play for them. There are rumblings that he might pull a Kobe and ask to be traded to the Knicks. Stay tuned :)

There's literally no chance of that happening. A thought you had is not considered a "rumbling".

If Minny doesn't take him, LA will. Why would Minny trade down to 4?

ok, so what are NYC's offers for #1 pick?
Melo? lol, wolves aint that dumb to swallow that contract along with another pick for PG.

rather go #1 + rubio for LAL's #2 + JC. lets LAL decides who they wanna take, and in the same time, get an all star rookie PG, and let ricky to play in big city with his charming smiles.

everyone happy except NYC, they get to stuck with melo and #4 pick.

Instead of rambling about how he grew up in New Jersey, he should be googling images of Minnesota to get himself prepared for the shithole that's going to draft him.

I'd rather keep Clarkson and take whoever falls to #2.

No, Ricky's not allowed to go to the Lakers, that would mean I'd have to cheer for L.A

Minneapolis is not a shit place. Timberwolves are frankly just garbage.

Timberwolves have been in the lottery for 11 years in a row and haven't had a winning record in 10 years. That franchise will remain garbo for the foreseeable future.

Players only use NYC as leverage. No one actually wants to play for that s,hithole franchise. Enjoy having the 4th pick in a 3 player draft and cap space to sign Greg Monrow. #PLAYOFFS2025 #InPhilWeTrust

He said this before the lottery. Every year the top players say they want to play for every team predicted to pick in the top 3

Tell you what, you can have Jeremy Lin back instead.

He was forcing himself to NY all season.

wait....so who is the 3rd player assuming you are talking about the bigs? There is also two highly touted guards coming out so having the 4th pick isn't bad at all. Hell, Lakers might even take a guard straight up. Mudiay and Russel. Take your pick. Having the 4th pick isn't bad at all

He's trolling. There are at least 4-5 players that can be really good coming out of this draft. Silk's shtick has dried up because of all the vacations last year's finals forced on him :lol

And for the record, no logical Knicks fan with a brain believes KAT will force his way here. It's ludicrous to think that a rookie in this day and age does that. I think Francis was the last guy to do it.

I think the fools calling it a three player draft are referring to towns, okafor, and whichever of the guards Philly takes. Nobody knows which guard they'll take and it's split down the middle, they just seem to know that whichever is left for ny's pick isn't any good.

The chances of the top 3 picks in this draft being the clear cut best 3 players in 3-4 years is very low. How often does that happen

Very very rare. In the top 4, at least one is a full blown bust and another is a big disappointment. Number 2 picks have been awful in recent years but at the end of the day, the past doesn't really mean anything because the entire top 5 could become allstars for all we know but it's a good way to think about it. Not the end of the world.
