Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love got injured and they are still doing well.

In 2012, Bosh was out for two rounds and Miami was still able to do well.

These two unfortunate injuries that Lebron's team had to deal with certainly did not allow them a "free pass" to the Finals.






How could these teams still keep doing well? Because of Lebron's amazing versatility and his ability to step into the PF spot and grab Kevin Love's rebounds and defend the other teams PF quite well (and pretty good PF's in P Millsap this year and David West in 2012).

MJ wouldn't have been able to do this.

Wade couldn't do this.

Tim Duncan wouldn't have been able to do this in the opposite direction (moving to SF, if Kawhi Leanard was injured for example)

You can keep glancing over the 2012 Chris Bosh and current K Love injury if you want though.

Or you can pretend that MJ or any other player could have stepped into a PF role, or that it's no big deal. Whatever helps you sleep at night and repress the realization that Lebron is one of the true GOATs.
