Perhaps the fact that they managed to barely overcome the curse by the skin of their teeth enraged it so deeply that it sadistically allowed them to gain a 3-1 lead, so that they'd feel safe and confident in finally making a conference finals only to inflict onto them one of the greatest comebacks of all time, brutally and vehemently crushing their hopes and dreams right before their very eyes.

oh, it counts.. curse been over since Clippers beat Spurs anyway. But he did say a bunch of shit since then which came back at him, so maybe its been re-lived.
as someone posted earlier, the curse was getting pissed that it was becoming too predictable so it delayed it's wrath on the clippers, gave them an epic round 1, teased them with a 3-1 lead in round 2, and then commenced to burn the clipper's soul with the historical meltdown.


this wasn't just an ordinary Konex curse. this was the Konex curse, the Clipper's curse, and the Sterling curse combining like Voltron, pulling out a giant ass sword, sent the clipper's franchise to oblivion and crushed blake and paul's legacies. this team as constructed will never recover.
