Why do people say Cousins stats are empty?

I love Cousins but he's not a good defender. I actually think he'll be a top 5-7 player once he gets on a decent team. Dude is legit.

6th in DRPM in the entire league, 3rd among centers. Kings defense is nearly 7 points better with him on the floor than without. Around league average with him on the floor, a full point worse than dead last with him off.

He's not always consistent or motivated, but he's capable. Kings are just a terrible team, so his big #s go to waste usually.

Cousins is a solid/good defensive center. The knock on Cousins is more team-related than any reflection on his own play, especially this season.
