Best player on the best team is not the most valuable. The media needs to get it right this year. What does Westbrook need to do to win the MVP?

Zero. A week or two ago he had a case but it was just because he had that hot streak and everyone was being a prisoner of the moment. In reality he never really had a shot.

Your putting way too much emphasis on wins. OKC is 41-31 and can win 50 games still..

This. Hell, even Lebron and Anthony Davis didnt have a shot.

MVP is between Harden and Curry.

I still have to collect my $200 I won on LeBron being MVP and Heat winning in 2012.

honestly MVP is 50/50 between harden and curry. no one else has a chance. lebron is going to have to wait until next year when the cavs have a full season with their current roster if he wants to win another MVP, even then 2016 irving won't be old wade from the heatles. KI might even overtake/outshine lebron next year on the cavs as lebron, without a doubt, will rest a lot next year to save himself for the playoffs. In the west next year Durant will be back, but WB's emergence this year will hurt his chances unless he puts up another 30/7/7 type season even with WB. curry won't win another mvp after this year unless he makes his stats even more ridiculous than this year with the same team success. Then there is Harden and AD to compete for MVPs also especially if the pelicans can take the next step as a team.

TLDR; if durant comes back to his MVP form then it's his award to lose.

Low. His push for MVP is too late and his team record is too low.

Their record is too low, especially when Harden is doing more with less and their record is better.
