I honestly think a Raptors - Wizards series would be cool. I want to see which of the two teams is better once and for all.

Naturally, Hawks vs Celtics/Hornets/Nets/Bucks (strictly due to their recent collapse) is probably going to be pretty boring. Hawks are enjoyable to watch, but those other teams really shouldn't be in the playoffs.

I really hope the Pacers get George back and make it in. While I don't view them as a threat, it could still spice things up a bit.

The Wiz couldn't beat the raptors BEFORE we started falling apart. By the time we get to the playoffs, Wall will be completely run down. Maybe Beal rounds into shape and we put up a fight :cry:

most boring series would be Cleveland-Charlotte, unless MKG rapes LeBron on a nightly basis

Every West matchup should be fun, even with the Grizzlies.

Wizards vs Raptors would be fun. Why would it be boring ? You seen the last 2 times they played each other ? Hell, they had a 3 OT game last season.

Don't worry, the Raps aren't any better at the moment. Lowry is really banged up and I fear DeRozan is going to get tired too.

Still could be a competitive series.

Right now West first round would be Dallas vs Grizzlies. Of course it would be better than almost anything in the East but I think there are better match ups out there.

Word. Great team, but just so difficult to enjoy. Almost hard to explain.

I guess it's the very fundamental, post-heavy, grind it out basketball they play. Not much extravagance, but it's effective.

The acquisition of Jeff Green definitely made them more watchable though.

I have to admit, I won't find too many of the East 1st round matchups interesting at all, unless an underdog team goes up 3-1 or 2-1 on the favorite. That doesn't mean I hate the Eastern Conference, I just hate what 1 player has done to collude and stack his team in the already weak East to ensure as easy a pass to the Finals as he could. Talk about lack of competitive desire :facepalm

I actually won't find the Hawks 1st round series boring, because I still have to see them prove they are legit come playoff time. That could make it an exciting series, kinda like when the Bulls lost the first game to the Pacers in the 1st round in Rose's MVP year. Yeah they came back to win but that was an exciting series for an upstart team that dominated the regular season.

Wizards vs. Raptors seems to be the clear winner. There are some fun players to watch in that series but neither of those teams are playing well.

Raptors vs Nets last year ended up being the best 1st round series (at least in the East) and both teams were complete non threats too.

Jail blazers has a point, though. Both teams aren't playing well right now, so it might not be a good series.
