He had a 19 year NBA career and if he played today he wouldn't sniff a 10 day contract. And he knows it. Of course its not going to sit well with him.

But LOL at "guys don't communicate or play together". The game in his age was PnR without help or ISO. Awful basketball in comparison.

Golden State can sit their 4 best players and play against a mediocre team like the Nuggets and the game will still be entertaining.

Even in this injury-riddled season the NBA is a joy to watch, because teamwork and smart defense is being preached now more than ever.

Try watching some stuff from the 80s. In Playoff games teams were still giving half effort on defense. Now that was painful to watch.

Teams don't need hard working great defensive rebounding big men that can hit a shot from the top of the key? :rolleyes: The only thing that would get him in trouble are his flagrant fouls, with the pussification of the league. He would give mean picks, and he wasn't afraid to lay someone out. Part of the 90s Knicks that every Knicks fan misses because of the btches that play for them now :confusedshrug:

Players don't tank, FO's do. There's not a single player in the league who's playing like shit on purpose. Hell, players on tanking teams might be the hardest playing players in the league, since 99% of them are fighting for a roster spot next season.

I agree with you on hardest playing players, but team full of talented players won't progress without Veteran players, every team needs them, even if they are just on bench. Tanking team usualy plays 1 on 5 basketball since every player is fighting for spot next season.

Forget seeing weaklings like Shaq, Robinson, Malone, etc on a nightly basis. No way Oak would be able to compete with the Joakim Noahs or Kevin Loves of today's NBA.
