So what's their actual worth? I don't see them dropping lower than 5th nor higher than 4th.

They are a 45 win team. It just wasn't right that they were on pace to win more than 50 games. They're currently at 5th with 33-25 and I see them finish at 6th.

1. Atlanta 60-22
2. Cleveland 55-27
3. Chicago 51-31
4. Toronto 50-30
5. Milwaukee 48-34
6. Washington 45-37
7. Miami 37-45
8. Detroit 36-46

I'm not surprised at their regression.

Gortat can't hold down the post all by himself. Nene has been injured and also in decline.

Add that to Beal's nagging injuries. Plus, losing Ariza was a big blow too.

Early in the season they won a lot of tight games against bad teams that they easily could have lost. Also Butler was shooting out of his mind which masked the weak bench.

The law of averages is playing out. They are too thin to keep playing well when one of the starters is out. Butler has cooled off. It looks like the team realizes they aren't that good and have lost some motivation.

50-32.

You think the Raptors are going 13 and 12 from here on out? I doubt it. More likely 54-28.

And Cavs going 19 and 5? Maybe that one is possible now.

Can someone remind me, again, why Kevin Durant would want to play in Washington for a substandard franchise for most of the last 30 years after next season?

While Washington is in a freefall and being nothing but slightly over mediocre, Sam Presti pulls off several tremendous trades for Oklahoma City that adds an inside presence, more depth than they've ever had before and adds much needed outside shooters.

Oklahoma City can bring back their entire roster next season, if they choose to. Their ascension and Washington's demise all but ensures KD will be back in the southern plains.

OKC have the perfect teammate for Durant in Westbrook, so as long as Presti doesn't majorly **** up and manage to keep a decent team around them, both will stay.
