Now that I think about it, every team LeBron was on since 2010 had deficiencies at the PG and C.

Doc Rivers is heavily recruiting Perkins as well. If he goes to the Clippers or the Cavs he's not getting any minutes. The Cavs are set on a three man big-man rotation that's worked out great since Mozgov arrived. And the Clippers are so top-heavy...Jordan, Griffin, Hawes, Glen Davis, he's not getting any minutes ahead of those guys.

Regardless, either team he goes to, he's just an insurance policy if someone goes down and he can help fill the defensive void left there.

Perkins was great with the celtics (thibs) and thunder (brooks). His play only works well with great defensive coaches. Blatt can't do that so perkins will be a net negative..

this perkins sucks is kinda funny shit. Perkins is very good a 2 things, setting up some mean ass picks and clogging the paint. Used properly he is very valuable, especially against big bodies.

Setting picks and clogging the paint is nice, for about 5-10 minutes per game off the bench. That's what Haywood does now, and Perkins would be slightly better.
And while he is very good at those things, he's bad at pretty much everything else.
