"Melo is a real scorer lebron is just athletic". Lmao Lebron is still the best player in the league melo not even top 15 at this point.

lol, if you can provide proof of people actually saying this then maybe, just maybe we can take you a little more seriously.

Otherwise, stop wasting our time, little boy. We got some shit to do.

Yeah, i don't know of anyone who made this claim, and if they did then their bball knowledge should be questioned.

There are/were plenty of people that don't think LeBron's game will age well though. We still have yet to see though, because if he's lost athleticism, it's not much. His head was near rim level on that double pump oop last night.

Melo is playing on a bum knee with the wackest team ever. Come back next year and we will reevaluate

Lebron has already clearly lost a good bit of athleticism and he's still a 25 6 7 type player on good-great efficiency. Even without athleticism his passing will still be there and that alone will put him over melo in the next few years.

:oldlol: Uhh no. We don't need to revaluate shit. LeBron is 10 levels above Carmelo. He has and will always be.

People have been saying this for years. Some idiots thought melo was just as good or even better for years lmao

LeBron is clearly a better play than Melo at any stage in their careers.

But its arguable whether hes still the best player in the league.

I wanted melo to be better but he never committed himself to the other end or making his role playing teammates better so in actuality it hasn't even been close. Regardless, he is only 2 rings behind. He is lucky Lebron is 2/5, it gives him a chance to catch up albeit it would need miracles :oldlol:

Into there 30s?:biggums:

Didn't both just turn 30? And LeBald is on steep decline.
Melo will be back next year, he's injured and the knicks are obviously tanking

An actual example of a steep decline would be Kareem's rebounding numbers in the early-mid 80s.

You really want to believe this, and you want to make others believe it as well. It's adorable.

Just because your homo-idol Kobe completely fell off doesn't mean you need to project your thoughts onto other players.

I was certainly in the camp, a long time ago, that believed Melo's game would "age" better than Lebron's.

I've also thought for about 5-6 years now that Lebron is easily, no question, the best player in the league.

Lastly... both just turned 30. This argument that looks so wrong now could still turn out to be right.

2 rings to "catch up" :oldlol: Melo has less playoff series wins than LeBron has MVP's

what is sad is Melo hasn't improved at all in his 11 years in the league. he hasn't added anything to his game that he didn't come into the league with.

kobe didn't "fall off" he just got injured

dude can still post up 20ppg +

and he can be real efficient if his team hits giving him space

lebron will of course make sure he has all the superstars in the league to help draw attention for him to single out a defender to shoot a layup over

either that or just resort to fast break dunking

thats all he is good for

The whole "athletic players" decline faster thing is largely a myth.
