James Harden tonight: 45 pts, 9 rbds, 8 assts, 2 stls.

Prime Jordan-esque. James Harden is playing unbelievably amazing right now. All year actually. He's a beauty to watch. He scores at ease. He's not the most athletic guy out there but his skills more than make up for it.

We are watching a legend in his prime people. :applause: Scored almost half the team points tonight but wasn't enough.

If this man doesn't win MVP it will be the biggest sports travesty since the 2002 Western Conference finals. Seriously. Bias aside, I'll take current Harden over any version of Kobe or Wade.

Discuss.

Harden is a good player, but generally overrated AF. Guy has so much talent and just wastes it by flopping; that play where he was clearly fouled by Leonard, he just threw himself around on the ground trying to make it a flagrant. Despicable.

Can't wait to see how he plays in the postseason.

Kobe never missed the Playoffs in his prime when healthy you dumbass :oldlol:

Lakers only missed the Playoffs in the 04-05 season, but Kobe was injured (missed 16 games) and played hurt all year and the team switched coaches, other players weren't healthy either with Odom missing 18 games, Devean George missing almost all of the season.

He only missed the playoffs once right after Shaquille O Neal went to the Heat, but he was injured along with Lamar Odom for 15+ games, and ended the season losing 17 of their last 19 games.

No wonder you never make threads.

I make them when It's worth talking about.

As great as he played where he does deserve credit but when his team losses the performance loses value. Even Harden would tell you that.

If he did this in a win that yes it deserves all the praise in the world. He's a great player. In a loss? it's impressive but really if your team loses it doesn't deserve so many posts about it.

Jimmy Harden for MVP

Quickening
02-09-2015, 06:05 AM
Kobe best season= 35.4 ppg, 5.3 rebounds, 4.5 assists on 55 ts% and EFG of 49%.

Harden this year= 27.5, 5.6 rebounds, 6.8 assists on 66 ts% and EFG of 53%

Seems pretty similar, Harden teams on for a better record.

Houston shot a whopping 11 more FTs than Portland, but they also committed 5 more fouls. Yes, Houston was called for 5 more fouls.

Not to mention the second half started, and Houston was whistled for 6 fouls to Portland's 1 in the third quarter.
