Kobe's best 5 years = 5 rings
LeBron's best 5 years = 5 Finals appearances with 2 rings
Hawks' best 5 years = 4 Finals with 1 ring
So:
Kobe > LeBron > Hawks franchise

2000 is one of Kobe's best years? Really?
Besides, those are team accomplishments, not individual.

Is it a 5 year period or 5 random years? Either way I'm probably going with LeBron if we're going to talk about individual achievements/awards.

We traded Bill Russell.
Was that a good move?
But in the here and now, who's number one in the East.

If I were Kobe, I would be more proud of 2000 than 2005.

This thread is about their best 5 years, not here and now. Please stick to the subject.

What a simplistic way to think about this.

In his prime Kobe was a top 10 player in the league probably. His impact was slightly greater than a Ray Allen. LeBron was a GOAT-level player. Easy choice.

C'mon, he was definitely better than "probably top-10," this is a guy who will go down as a top-20 all-time player. I'm not a fan of Kobe but he deserves a lot more than that.

Well stans are simple minded. That's why they live vicariously through another person's life.

the 3 years Kobe won with Shaq wasn't his best years. his best years was post Shaq. The year of 81 points is a best year. individual-wise. ofc Kobe's best years weren't the Lakers' best years.
