Andrew Wiggins says he won't be in the NBA dunk contest

We can put the rumors to bed. Andrew Wiggins is not going to be in the NBA slam dunk contest.

His dad, Mitchell Wiggins, apparently told Hoops Hype Canada that Andrew would be in the 2015 dunk contest, but the Timberwolves rookie has shot that down.

"Me? I'm not going to be in the dunk contest," Wiggins said, when asked about the rumors.

Not interested?

"Maybe something in the future."

His teammate, Zach LaVine, is reportedly a "strong possibility" for the competition, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports.

LeBron did not need to establish himself. He was already a household name at that point with no need of attending such lowly competition.
