Lebron will pass the torch to Curry.
Winning the MVP
1st/2nd in all-star voting
2nd in Jersey sales after Lebron
Finally a good looking guy will be the face of the NBA.

Durant never asked for the torch. Simply took it.

And Tony Allen smashed the torch in his face, and there his 2 months reign ended. Lebron took it back.

The Grizz contained Durant to pretty spectacular numbers and his team advanced. Damn. How did they stop him?

You mean inflated numbers because of refs. When the refs were called fairly, Allen ate him alive. And CP3 :oldlol: :oldlol:

lets be real peeps, kobe is pretty much laying on the floor begging for someone to take the torch away from him, but everyone is too afraid to take it. just weak attempts here and there, kobe may retire with it at this point

IDK man, Durant's a great player but he was not the face of the league last season and definitely not this season. The early injury and the limit on his minutes has not help his case at all.

Kobe has been laying on the floor since that legendary 6-24 game. Poor guy couldn't ever recover from that devastating performance.

i just feel bad for bron. he tried and tried and tried, but 35+ year olds just yanked it back from him 2 years in a roll

and if you count 2010-2011, thats another 30+ year old taking it from him

You have to be popular to be face of the NBA. Durant has a hard time making the starting 5 of the all-star game. Nobody wants a free throw contest. 3PT contest is a good enough shooting contest. :oldlol:

the torch got lost in the ensuing chaos of the sweeping motion the Mavs put on the Lakers back in 2011

lebron thought he could gather a great team and go all together to try and grab it, well thats not how it works... the torch can only be removed by one man, one that she deems worth it

agreed with the many reasonable and intelligent posters who said that Kobe never had the torch. last 10 years: duncan>wade>gasol>lbj and now the ATL hawks. league is in good hands boys

Durant always a second fiddle. First to Lebron, now to Curry...
He may even be the second fiddle in his own team..
