Here (http://probasketballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/12/09/report-nets-sixers-again-talking-andrei-kirilenko-trade/). It isn't clear what the Nets would acquire, but they would give up a 2nd round pick plus the option to swap second rounders in another draft too

Nets shouldn't get shit but I read it would be a non guaranteed player. And honestly Nets need to give up more than a second rd pick. Sixers dont need to do this deal, Nets do as it would save them $12,000,000 in luxury tax. Why do them a solid for a second rd pick which you can buy for 1/3 of that $12mil?

I read Sixers get AK47 (whom they will release), 2020 2nd rd pick (da ***) and the right to swap 2nd rd picks in 2018 for Brandon Davies (tuna can). Eh, hardly a deal to get up for.

The rumored trade is AK for Saric and Noel. Same source mentioned that Embiid is gonna be held out the next few years for precautionary reasons. Philly really prepping for that 2017 and 2018 tank.

It's done. The Nets are salary dumping players they could actually use (there defense is shit). It's mind boggling.

Morey has found some gems in previous years in the second round, I would not dismiss the value of those, especially when Hinkie is Morey's protege.

The guy who look like Ivan Drago in the city of Philadelphia? The Sixers need to trade for Belinelli too :D

Noel to Nets? Would the Sixers do that? Imagine how good a defender he could become under Garnett's tutelage

Send AK to the Hawks. We can absorb his contract in full.

Would make a lot of sense for him to join the Clippers after he clears waivers.

The Hawks are sufficiently under the cap to put a claim in for AK47.

Is Kirilenko capable of playing 30mpg right now? Interested in the fantasy implications here.

Yeah Hinkie found one in Kj McDaniels last draft via second round.

I'd love to get him for his play (and to stop Ray coming near us), but I hear he's a bit of whiner these days, not a real hard worker, and a bit of a jerk. The team that relies on chemistry more than anything probably shouldn't risk that.

Which is a shame, because AK is one of my five favourite players ever.

Philly are going to waive him which makes AK a free agent.

The 76ers will send forward Brandon Davies to the Nets and acquire a 2020 second-round pick in the deal, as well as the right to swap second-round picks with Brooklyn in the 2018 draft. The Nets will likely include guard Jorge Gutierrez in the deal, a league source told Yahoo.

The trade is expected to be finalized on Thursday.

Kirilenko is in the final year of a $3.3 million contract, and will be waived in Philadelphia once the deal is completed, sources said. Kirilenko would become a free agent, but it could still be several weeks – even months – before he's ready to sign a deal to play elsewhere this season, sources said.

I will be super excited if it's true that Jorge winds up getting thrown into this deal. Coach Hollins is barely giving him any PT. He would have a chance to shine in Philly.

Can't the Sixers just keep him? We will still be ****ing terrible but it wouldn't be as painful to watch.

:biggums: for good reason. Hollins gave him a few chances and in all of them he failed bad. Even in garbage time he was just horrible.

Anyone excited to try and get Kirilienko... Don't be too excited. Dude has fell off big time. Not only has he lost his athleticism but he can't make free throws anymore and doesn't have much lift anymore. He had back issues last season and he was extremely stiff in the preseason.. There's a reason he wasn't in the rotation.

I don't think AK would help much. I'd rather give the minutes to KJ and Covington and let them develop their skill and confidence. AK-47 would not be a great mentor in my eyes.

Danng this guy took a minimum to play for them nets, unless money under the table, and now they are getting rid of him like a trash.

Dude is washed up though, should go to Europe cause I don't think he's even good for the defense right now.

Hmm interesting, I'd like to see what he could do in Bud's system.

Does he have anything left in the tank though?

He wouldn't want to play here anyway. But give those minutes to young dudes.

Nets third string pg. Kidd liked him because he was more of a pass first pg. Then during pre season it was either horrible jorge Guttierez or horrible Marquis Teague. So they stuck with horrible pass first Guttierez

... Kirilenko said he was done for the NBA for now because of family issues and after the 76ers waive him he doubts he'll sign with another team. So no it's not mind boggling.

they could probably combine a few of them to get a late first round pick and then combine that with whatever they get to pick up a top pick. doubt they get #1 being the absolute worst team in the league.
