:oldlol: Even Kobe's washed-up years aren't as good as Jordan's washed up years.

MJ wizards year one

23/6/5 on 42/19/79 shooting (47%TS) 22.1 FGA

MJ wizards year two

20/6/4 on 45/29/82 shooting (49%TS) 18.6 FGA

Kobe so far in 16 games

26/5/4 on 39/28/79 shooting (49%TS) 23.1 FGA

MJ in his first 16 games back averaged 24.8 ppg on 24.5 FGA (40% shooting) :kobe:, and he only took one three per game on average

Kobe's chucking up one long range shot after another (nearly 6 threes a game), and is still as effective, while averaging more points per shot.

The next excuse will be that MJ was 38, but that nikka didn't come off no torn achilles or a broken knee, Kobe played 6 NBA games in 18 months before returning this season, so he was away from the game a considerable amount of time as well and is still playing himself into shape, shaking off that rust.

MJ at that age looked more athletic, too. Kobe's been shooting more jump shots and from longer range than Jordan did, plus Jordan had a better team around him in Washington. Dude had a #1 draft pick on his team and he destroyed all of his confidence, instead of mentoring a guy with a lot of potential, he brought him down. Imagine if Kobe was doing this to a healthy Randle, he would get roasted.

dont forget to mention how that wizards team actually had some talent...unlike this lakers team.

i know you want to bash kobe...but the fact that you cant think of kobe without mentioning jordan says a lot in itself.

Has Kobe shot 50% before? Two of the greatest to ever play, having their legacies endlessly argued over by stans making petty, stupid arguments.

why average 40 when you can average 34/7/8 on 52/43/88 shooting (2010 WCF against Phoenix)

He had a similar series against the Spurs in 01 and Denver in 09

MJ played in a weak era
