For 3 quarters the Lakers play smart TEAM basketball and it was working. Then in the 4th Kobe tries to "take over," shooting 3/11 in the process and costs the Lakers a win. :facepalm
I don't care if Kobe has a few nice looking buzzer beaters in his career, anyone will make a few if they shoot enough of them. Kobe's play style down the stretch of close games results in far more loses than wins. His stans don't care about things like winning though, cause at least he was alpha. :applause:

Better than doing this in the 4th quarter

Yes, we do. That's why we like a guy with 5 rings, 7 finals appearances, and two gold medals. :kobe:

Kobe played a typical Lebron game.... played well in the first 3 quarters and was passive, tried to take over and bricked, deferred to his teammate for the winner at the end of regulation, deferred to Jordan Hill when he should have taken a 3 while down 4....

LOL at these Kobetards deflecting and trying to make this about Lebron. No one is saying Lebron hasn't had bad moments at the end of games, I can admit that my favorite player has faults. You guys on the other hand can't admit that your hero's play style hurts your team far more than it helps them, so you post a bunch of troll gifs. :sleeping
Bringing up Lebron's worst moments doesn't change the fact that your hero's clutch reputation is nothing more than a myth. :yaohappy:

In reality, Lakers will only play smart team basketball in 1 out of 14 games.

Is it the smart thing for kobe to try take over when the game is on the line and the clutch is approaching. The guy is surrounded by retards. He doesnt have the luxury of being surrounded by all stars like lebron. And when kobe was surrounded by all stars he won championships.

Of course hes not always going to be perfect in these situations. But id take kobe taking over in the clutch over hoping that these retards will be clutch anyday.

Abbott theory is a myth.

Just ask Shaw, Horry, Fisher, Fox, Harper, Ariza and Pau.

Don't ask Smush, Kwame, Wes and Lin though.

Chucker cryant is losing games by himself. The Lakers management knew what they were doing. Kobe is the perfect tool to tank. He will get people on the seats because of his past reputation you make money you lose and still make dough.

What you said about deviating from the offense is true. Dude has a mental illness at this point with that.

His dead legs are due to too many minutes. At one point I checked the game and he played 39 minutes. Byron Scott is the same as any other idiot coach the lakers have paraded out there since Phil.

Kobe has to sit or else his shots will continue to catch the front of the iron late in games for the most part.

Agreed, but even in that 4th quarter he almost cost the Lakers a win with 2 huge defensive errors. At this point Kobe is one of the worst 4th quarter players in the entire NBA.

OP has a point, no need to fill this thread with trolling. The stats say it all. He "choked", he hurt his team with his renowned poor shot selection. I'm not saying this. STATS are saying this.

Yes, Kobe didn't execute. But can you can't blame a man for trying to assert his dominance. Honestly, that's all we ever wanted to see with LeBron, we wanted to see him be a man and take a game over instead of deferring or "making the right play"
