We're just barely into the season so I'm sure guys like Lance Stephenson, Steph Curry, and Joakim Noah will also be in the mix. Personally I'd put my money on Rondo taking it if he stays healthy.

I would say Lance even though he doesn't have one yet....But he led the league last year......

Rondo or Steph

Noah won't be in the discussion as his minutes will be down and Pau plays a lot of the high post.

I say Lance. He seems to be the best playmaker on the Hornets

Remember when the Media used to make a big deal about triple-doubles before 2010?

You rarely hear about them now because LeOverrated rarely gets them.

Normally I'm not a fan but this year I hope it's Westbrook, he's on my fantasy team along with Durant. I need him to make up for lost time.

I still think Lance will repeat. Once his shot starts falling and he gets his confidence back, the trip dubs will really start pouring in.

Bron for sure.

Even tho he's started off a bit shaky, he can still get a triple double on an off night.

He gud.

Rondo will finish with a hilarious amount of double doubles not in points

Rondo will lead the league in TDs.

Not Kobe

in no order of importance

The cast around him is too inconsistent to count on for the assist numbers

Kobe's age the time off for injuries is going to wear on him as the season goes along, he'll have to pick and choose when to put in the kind of effort that results in triple doubles.. rebounds coming the hardest..

The more and more the team comes to grips with the system the more and more we should see a better distribution of stats across the team

This is Rondo and it's not even close. He's the best at triple doubles since prime Kidd.

Updated the triple double tracker on the first post to include Tim Duncan. :applause:
We now have a 6-way tie going in this race. Who will be the first to jump out ahead of the pack?

My personal pick has been Rondo. He could easily be running away with this but he's only averaging 8.6 PPG, lowest since his rookie year (6.4 PPG). Other than that he's always been above 10 PPG. Still plenty of time to improve though.

Last season's leader, Lance Stephenson, is currently absent from the list and has been struggling offensively (0.38 FG%, 0.16 3P%) during his first season away from the franchise that drafted him. Hopefully he turns it around. Last night against the Knicks Lance started the game 0-4 but finished it out going 7-11 the rest of the way, to go along with 6 REB and 6 AST.

Lebrons title to lose, every year, only rondo can put up a fight.

I'm saying Lance.

I conjecture the Hornets won't be as bad as they've looked all season and with some stretches of wins, I can see Lance accumulating a few in the process...

Bron hasn't led the league in triple doubles since 2010.

But my money is on Michael Carter Williams. He's averaging 19.6 12.2 9.0 in the last 5 games. He's been missing triple doubles by like 1 or 2 assists/rebounds each game.

Eric Bledsoe had his first career triple double :applause:
27 Pts, 11 Reb, 16 Ast, 2 Stl, 2 Blk

He didn't get much shine for it because it came in a loss and was also overshadowed by a monster night from Blake Griffin.
