It was the Sixers, but still. Think they'll be top 3?

But when the Rockets beat teams like the Sixers, they "haven't beaten anyone"

I'll go with a conservative estimate and say about 68-72 wins. I'm not going to get too crazy just yet.

They were on a 56 win pace after trading Rudy Gay last season. They were a legit team last season as well, just a little young. They'll be even better this season in terms of experience, and probably get about 55 wins now with everyone knowing their role and no Rudy Gay around to chuck bricks.

Heat > Raptors

Pure facts.

Kyle and DeMar are always going to be great for this team, but they need Jonas to step up and be more consistent. Yes, the Raptors need to get more looks but today they did that and he's still way too turnover prone. Once he starts cutting down the turnovers, then they can start to be in the conversation of a legit top team for years to come.

Also, great job by the bench. Patterson is the most versatile of the group, Vasquez crafty, Lou brings the scoring, James brings the defense, etc... Still long way to go, but their coming.

Impressive start so far.

Could be undefeated right now if they made their FT's in Miami.

Still early but I can def see this team as a top 3 seed.

I'm thinking about 54-56 wins with the 3rd seed. Toronto and their backcourt get a comical lack of respect and recognition.

Hmmm....

Bulls (*Derrick Rose)
Heat (*Wade)
Cavs(*Chemistry)

Raptors seem like the only one you can count on at the moment. They might **** around and get the one seed. :oldlol:

Is Lowry and Derozan in the talk of the best backcourts along with Wall-Beal, Waiters-Irving, Curry-Thompson ?

They haven't played any decent teams yet except for the Heat. They're gellin' nicely though....I think 3rd seat at the least, barring no major injuries. Great start, nonetheless.

It's funny cause when there asked about Lowry always says he doesn't need to talk about best backcourt in the NBA they just play and let there games do the talking.

Hey it is a win. If the Sixers are proud of tanking, that is on them and their fans. But anyway, I have the Raptors in the top four; Bulls/Cavs/Wizards/Raptors. Of course the Raptors and Wizards are so close on my list. It could easily be Raptors then Wizards. But they are playing really well.

The only back court that you can say they were objectively better than the Lowry/DeRozan were Curry/Thompspn and Dragic/Bledsoe (when he was healthy).

Right now ? Only Curry/Thompson can be objectively considered better.

Wall/Beal and Irving/Waiters are not better than Lowry/DeRozan. Infact, I don't even think their better than Dragic/Bledsoe.

Wizards were 4-1 (5-2 after this week) on Friday and the Raptors demolished them from start to finish. Hawks are also decent. Beat the Celtics on a back to back on the road without Amir and Jonas.

That said, the true test is vs the Bulls and Grizzlies on this home stand.

east is fcking stacked. Idk who can win this conference. Raps, bulls, wizards, hawks, heat, hornets, nets r all legit contenders.

West and East have different standards.

Cavs are the most stacked team since the 2014 Heat. Raps will get a high seed, but only 1 Eastern team has no excuses.

They really could get the #1 seed. That doesn't mean they'll be the best team in the East by the time the playoffs start, but...

Undefeated with Amir playing. Good stuff.
