Once Wade's injuries caught up to him, Bran abandoned the ship.

Now he's stuck on a team with a bunch of underachievers and empty stat stuffers.

Yes, Cleveland right now has an underachiever and empty stat stuffer. And then there are Kevin Love and Kyrin Irving.

BuffaloBill's original (http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showpost.php?p=9540863&postcount=4) was better.

I think a lot of people (perhaps including LeBron) underrate Wade's basketball intelligence in terms of being one of his greatest attributes. Part of that comes with experience and part of it is innate. Kyrie isn't close to Wade in either regard. LeBron is faced with the challenge of showing him what it takes to win. The questin will be, how much is Kyrie willing to learn and what sacrifices will he make to help the team achieve their goals.

why do ya'll like to pinpoint one individual as the solution? Clearly what Cleveland are going through is a team issue and will be solved as soon as they start playing as a team. Wade has nothing to do with this.

Actually, he does. Even in his "diminished" post-prime state last year, Wade shot 55 percent next to LeBron, and LeBron, in turn, shot 57 percent next to Wade. Neither of them will ever see those numbers again. The effect of having two players on the same unit that command so much defensive attention individually yet are so naturally efficient is almost impossible to quantify.

People say Bosh is "leading" the Heat (for now, because Wade had one bad game), but Wade is the one being swarmed with defenders.

LeBron is even in Cleveland again because Wade was injured, played poorly and lost in the 2014 Finals. He quit on his friend, and battle tested teammate.

D wade and bosh were security blankets lebron would hog the ball and always put up good numbers. And take most credit for the wins. But when the heat lost people usually would refer to the low statistical contributions by bosh and wade. And then claim lebron was alone out there.

Even in 2011 finals some say it was d wades fault for hogging the ball when lebrons numbers were pathetic:facepalm

Now people are going to blame kyrie.... hes just a dumb kid who wants to be a superstar, who can blame him?? If lebron cant get his team into winn8ng basketball form thats his fault.

This is 100% correct. You dont turn the best player in the league into a spot up shooter in the finals :facepalm

"It's not far, but it is far. And Clevelanders, because they were the bigger-city kids when we were growing up, looked down on us.... So we didn't actually like Cleveland. We hated Cleveland growing up. There's a lot of people in Cleveland we still hate to this day."

its closer to home than Miami which is more of a tourist location than a place to settle down

In fact, LeBron sacrificing living in Cleveland, and being forced to live in Miami is one of the more noble things he has done

You do when your best player is playing like complete crap, can't do jack sh*t in the 4th quarter, and is getting shown up by 33 year old Dirk. He outscored LeBron in the 4th quarter 44-8. :facepalm

:lol LeBron might as well be the only opposing player on the court. Wade, Bosh, heck even Ray, have all saved LeBron. It's like he's not allowed to have any help. He did his fair share to contribute. 2012 Game 6 vs. Boston for example. If Wade was truly his security blanket, then how do you explain that game LeBron put up in a do or die situation?

Shooter? Man couldn't be more terrified to shoot. He was still pounding the ball and wasting shot-clock time in that finals you know, just not shooting or scoring or defending. More of a spot-up nothing.

edit: also seem to remember him posting up jj barea and not having a clue what to do
