This. He is a bit better than Airza on offense, but a lot worse on defense.

Sadly, he is not worth double Ariza's price. His shot will come if his ego has ruined his game this summer.

Giving up on the Parson's Project after only 1 game?

This, he's a decent role-player but he's definitely no star atm.

That was an awful pick. I picked Hayward instead. Hayward > Parsons (for fantasy)

Also, what people don't realize is that just like some players (Lowry, Lin, PGs) underperform in Houston's system, it was GREAT for Parsons.

Can't say I'm a big fan either but after just one game? come on people. Let's come back to this topic when the new year hits..few months of games should give a better indication

it was really easy to see how inferior he was to the second tier of elite players of the NBA during the Team USA scrimmages this summer.

Why do people compare this guy to Hayward? They're totally different players.

How so?

Extremely athletic long 3s who can spread the floor, run the break, and defend well. Hayward puts the ball on the floor and handles a lot better though.

He's kinda overrated meanwhile in Houston 22 yrs.old Terrence Jones with 16 points, 13 rebounds.

Statistically, they are almost identical.

Young, white SFs who can score, rebound, handle the rock, and pass. Of course Hayward is overall better in most of those categories. Not really THAT crazy of a comparison.

Parsons isn't garbage. he's better then last night's game shows. however, he's not worth 15 mil/yr.

my biggest concern when he was in houston was that he was getting too "hollywood" and start getting distracted. being in dallas may just exacerbate that.

Parsons will be fine. New team and high expectations...he was probably all nerves to start. He's a baller and rises to the occasion. He was the only Rocket to play consistently in both playoffs (2012 and 2013) the prior two seasons.
