Will this be the season where Boogie firmly plants himself as the best big in the league? He as of late is looking amazing and he had a ripper of a FIBA cup. Can't believe some people were seriously putting Plumlee over him.

He averaged 23/12 last season playing with two other shotjackers (IT and Gay)

I think this season is the season he puts his foot in the door for MVP discussion.

My prediction?
- All-star
- 5th in MVP voting
- Kings get the 8th seed
- Averages 25/12

His numbers will improve. I can see something like 24 ppg and 12 rpg from him.

Kings get the 8th seed
Not happening.

He is a star if you judge success on a couple of statistical categories.

I wouldn't be surprised if at the end of the season he has had an overall negative impact on the Kings, and they don't even get close to the playoffs.

Pretty hard to win in the NBA with no point guard and power forward and no defence.

Looked at the highlight reel. Some impressive stuff, but can he stretch the floor? I saw his shooting mechanics on some of those shots looked average, and really floor spacing is the name of the game in today's NBA. So I have to say, no, he will neither be an MVP candidate nor anything else. I suggest he put some more work in on his jumper.

They are both below average players on playoff teams.

I don't care if they average 12 points from high usage on a bad team.

It will be another year where Aldridge proceeds to take a huge sh*t on him every time the Blazers play the Kings.

Aldridge is a poor mans Dirk. Boogie is a poor mans Shaq. I know who I'd pick.

Boogie and Griffin will be the best at their respective positions comfortably this season.

You mean you'd pick Cousins over Aldridge? :lol

Boogie will forever be in the shadow of the Top C's in the league. Referring to D-White, Joe-Keem, Whore-Ford, Big Al J, and MarGa-Soul. Dude really isn't that great.

21 turnovers in his past 3 games. SMFH.

Kings at 8th? Talent-wise, they could make a serious run at it. They need another rotation player - if they can make a trade at some point in the season, then that's not outrageous.

I guess you don't watch games :confusedshrug:

Blazers have won 3 of the last 4 if I recall, but those outcomes aren't due to Cousins or Aldridge.

Boogie is averaging over 30 against your boys lately. Aldridge doesn't really do anything that Cousins doesn't do. And he's 5 years older.

This.

Aldridge is more offensively limited than Boogie. Boogie freaking does drives to the hoop in the halfcourt consistently. He's more versatile offensively. Aldridge just has better teammates surrounding him, a lot better shooters. It makes a world of difference to have good shooters. I'd say their defense is pretty even, Demarcus is underrated defensively IMO, he picks a lot of pockets and cuts off passing lanes alot for a center, he's very good with his hands. He won't ever be a consistent shotblocker though, but he still averaged 1.4 per 36 minutes.

You are never going to be the best if you can't even get into the playoffs...and considering the Kings are not making the playoffs...no it will not be this season.
