LeBron James was eight years old when Ohio native Jason Goudlock was arrested for aggravated robbery and felonious assault. Now the prisoner wants a release so he can see King James.

Goudlock filed his fifth appeal to the Ohio State Parole Board and invoked the Cavaliers star as a reason why he should be released. Much of his letter was serious, but there are two lines that really stand out.

“I urge you to retire #248-561 because I have history to make.”

“On the lighter side, I would truly like to witness in person LeBron James’ pursuit of an NBA championship for my beloved hometown.”

Goudlock was sent to prison back in 1994 and spent more than 20 years locked up for aggravated assault and armed robbery — offenses committed when he was 18.

Goudlock's scheduled release is in 2028.

If he pulled a gun on the person during the robbery, I'm fine with that. I'm also curious if a weapon was used during the assault. I just want some general background information.

America, where you get more jail time for stealing 100 dollars at gunpoint than stealing 100 million from investors.

Edit: Andrew Goudelock's brother?

Kinda off topic.

I was watching that Lockdown show and some dude got sentenced to 18 months in a minimum security prison for robbery and he had three months left until his release.

Then the dude attacked a security guard and a shiv and is now spending the rest of his life in max lockdown without the chance of parole.

Man, they should let this guy out and live his life. I bet all those years in prison beat the shit out of the stupid 18 year old guy he used to be.
