on the 2011-2014 Thunder. How many rings? I say at least 3.

T-mac is arguably the better pure scorer, but he's nowhere near the all around player KD is

But the Thunder don't really need KD to be an all around player. Guys like Lebron are forced to be all around players because their teams don't have guys who can play make and rebound, while Durant already has elite rebounders like Ibaka, Westbrook, and Perkins. Westbrook can also take on the distributor role. All the Thunder need Durant to do is score and be clutch, but Durant keeps letting his team down in the big moments, especially in the playoffs. T-mac on the other hand was very clutch, and I don't think he chokes away 4 straight playoff games against Memphis the way Durant did in 2013. :confusedshrug:

My two favorite players ever, but I still say 0.
OKC is still very flawed. Probably the most flawed out of all of the contenders right now.

Last year's Durant is pretty much exactly like prime T-Mac. Both were the best scorers in the league and their all-around game was very nice. Good passers, defenders, rebounders, etc.
So I say if you replaced Durant with prime Tracy McGrady, the Thunder would probably be the exact same team.

The guy who never made it out of the first round was "very clutch"?

:facepalm Context is your friend. You really think TMac isn't making it out of the first round with Westbrook, Ibaka, and Harden?
Did TMac ever have a 2nd option that was even as good as Ibaka? TMac would have KILLED to have a supporting cast like Durant's!

With the same circumstances as '11-'14 Durant, none.
The 2011 Mavs would still be better, 2012 LeBron (especially in the Playoffs) was better than any version of T-Mac so he's not beating Miami that year, he's not winning anything in 2013 with no Westbrook, and dropping 2 games to SA in 2014 right out the gate due to the Ibaka injury greatly harms any chances of beating the Spurs.

Yao was always hurt. Not someone TMac could rely on.

Just like Kobe was in the few years he didn't have a dominant front court. :confusedshrug:

With all due respect, I think the Thunder would have beaten this year's Spurs with TMac in place of Durant. I don't think TMac would do this in the clutch

1. LeBron actually did win, twice. Which is actually as many times as the Knicks have EVER won
2. Bosh has NEVER been a superstar, and Wade hasn't been one for like 2-3 years

I would too! Even though Durant's all around game has for sure picked up, T-Mac is clearly a better passer and for sure capable of playing PG-SF. I think T-Mac's TOTAL SCORING SKILLSET is slighty better than Durant's. T-Mac would explore all areas of the floor scoring the rock equally it seemed like. Durant is more of a pure shooter who likes to slash as well. As far as who's flat out the better player, I think it's a tie. But given the fact that Durant is damn near 7 foot tall with that kind of skillset, it might give in the edge due to the matchup nightmares that he can cause. But T-Mac at close to 6'9 for sure redefined the SG position and was a major matchup nightmare as well.

D-Will and Boozer were actually good back then. Both were top 2 players at their position.

Ibaka/Westbrook >>>> Yao
Tmac would do the same as Durant, Tmac is just as good as Durant in his prime.

TMac is actually a good comparision for durant
Durant should be compared to the Tmacs and melo's instead of Lebron and jordan
Y'all torturing the kid by giving him unrealistic expectations

They never make it out of the first round. Only if T-Mac were second option behind someone like a prime Grant Hill.
Can't progress as first option though, that is off the table.
