View Full Version : Who Is Going To Be The First Option For The Cavs?

IMO it should be Kyrie. Kyrie has proven that he can close games and score with the best of them. 2nd option should be Kevin Love bec he is an efficient scorer with long range. Waiters should be 3rd option. Then LeBron can come in to fill up the slack if the other three are not performing well.

No, he's just obsessed with all things Lebron James. Like my father always said, haters are nothing but fans in denial. I think OP has a huge crush on Lebron. :lol

I'm not entirely sure your father's statement is absolute.

I don't hate Kobe Bryant but I absolutely loathe the rankings some people want to give him all time and how highly regarded he is as a player.

A lot of it started with this board and Stu Lantz. Stu Lantz is probably the most annoying mother****er I've ever listened to and it wouldn't surprise me if a lot of Lakers fans formed their opinion of Kobe by listening to this asshole. His exaggerations about Kobe's greatness over the years are probably unmatched by any announcer/player combination ever. I remember him saying back in 2003 that Kobe Bryant was unquestionably the best player in the league... what the ****? Prime Shaq was on his team still and Shaq was UNQUESTIONABLY better and had more impact on team wins than any player in the ****ing league... but I digress.

Kobe is a funny case... he's one of the greatest players to ever lace them up, no doubt, but... he's also probably the most overrated player of all time. It's funny how that works. He has been 100% unique in that sense.

I just wish we could all rewind 18 years and put him on a shit franchise without a supporting cast to start off with and see where his legacy lands from there.

I tried to make a thread about this a few days ago, but of course the Kobe loving mods deleted it in 5 seconds.
My guess is he would end up like T-Mac, only with much better longevity.

Dude coasted the entire game, then got hot in the 4th, and Stu Lantz is hyping his ass up hard. Plus... McGrady got ****ing robbed at the end of regulation because O'Neal was fouling the absolute shit out of him and holding his arm as he was trying to get his shot off... no whistle.

Another Kobe brick on a game winning shot... most clutch player in the league though! And the best! Reputations are funny.

It's truly amazing how much people base their opinion on who is clutch by what ESPN talking heads tell them. Notice how every time Lebron misses a game winner First Take will spend 30 minutes talking about how mentally weak and unclutch he is. Then when Kobe misses a game winner the argument changes to "at least he has the guts to take those shots" :facepalm
I guess it's kind of human nature though. If you listen to something being said on TV enough times most people are bound to start believing there is some form of truth to it.

It's not Lebron's fault Bosh is a mediocre 3 point shooter and poor rebounder :oldlol:

Love will fit quite well with Lebron. Love can also pass well, unlike Bosh.
