Our leverage is that Love won't extend anywhere else, so any other team wanting to trade for him won't gut their team for a 1 year rental. Even if they go on record saying they will, they won't.

Love won't extend with the Cavs either. No matter where he goes, it's in his best interest to opt out and get the big payday. Extensions are worth less than new contracts in this CBA.
