THIS is what a rivalry is all about, my nikkas. Down 2-0 to the Knicks, the Bulls bounced back in Chicago to even the series. The team that won this game would essentially have the other team at its mercy. And yes, this is the Charles Smith Game.

MJ's biggest rivalry is with Vegas.

MJ dropped 50+ this game right??

Nah, it was the previous game in Chicago. He had 54 in that one. This one I believe he had 29.

Just watching these highlights again, I gotta say this is probably my favorite game in the Bulls/Knicks rivalry.

That last Knicks' possession of the game by Smits.

Same here. :applause: The Bulls had to score to rub it in at the end (it was Armstrong with the lay up if I recall) too. :oldlol:

Game 6 was close too. It wasn't really over until Pippen hit a dagger 3 with the shot clock running out with a little over a minute left to extend the lead to 7. That provide the classic moment where he turned around and raised his finger in the air after the shot.

Yeah, I think it was his best series in the first three-peat in terms of importance to the team (statistically his 91' or 92' Finals would be best).

The impressive thing about the defense on Smith was they did it without fouling.

didn't even have home court advantage. After being down 0-2, they won 4 straight.

Which was huge because the Knicks were practically unbeatable at home that year. I believe they had a 25+ game home winning streak at MSG before the Bulls beat them in Game 5 of that series.

Truly an epic game. Stars from both teams hitting big shots.

Honestly, this was one of the few times I doubted the Bulls could win (either the series or the game--this one was both for me). I almost--ALMOST--threw in the towel after the Bulls went down 0-2. The Bulls won Game 3 with MJ having one of his worst playoff games ever (I think he was 3-18) in a blowout (the other Bulls really stepped up). But they barely beat the Knicks in Game 4 with MJ going off for 54 points, so I wasn't sure if they could stop the Knicks back in NY.

Oh, I was never so happy to be wrong. And Scottie...damn, dude was on fire this game.

All that on his mind and he still won all those championships? Wow, he really is the GOAT!

This is the worst moment in Knicks history. Charles Smith cannot walk the streets here in NY because of this.

Doesn't help that he was probably fouled a couple of times, but they aren't calling that. F this game.

Remember when Smith got blocked again going for the win at the end of OT of the Bulls-Knicks Christmas game (after Davis was blocked) during the 1994-1995 season?

Unbelievable Game. Can`t Believe The Knicks Lost This One. Still I Don`t Understand How There Was No Foul With Charles Smith At The End. What a Game

This was the game where you knew the Bulls dynasty was special.

Spoiler alert:
--------------
1. Ewing playing his ass off
2. Prime Pip beasting
3. Jordan on a tear and controlling the game at crunch time
4. Frantic defense
5. Riley bugging out

AWESOME

Oh yea...how could I forget? I felt bad for my homeboy Charlie.... a great guy, but the goat of the series. They never gave Ewing that 2 guard he needed until it was too late. Knicks had some great rivalries in the 90's.

...and now, 20 years later - we have Phil. Go figure...
