Melo just gets done telling them all how he will always be a Knick at heart. A few days later Mike Miller turns down over 7 million extra dollars to sign in Cleveland :oldlol: Maybe one day they will try to start winning titles instead of obsessively collecting role players and gunning for a 1st round playoff loss.

Wouldn't have won if he went to Denver anyway. He's not someone you can build around.

Not Mike Miller!

Time to blow it up. Lawson for Ilyasova?

Has nothing to do with Miller making them title contenders. Not what I am saying. But the dude just turn down a ton of money to play in Cleveland over them. When has that ever happened?

Yeah I'm happy Mike Miller didn't sign. He's over the hill and Denver is already a collection of role players as you suggested.

It's actually been a great offseason for the Nuggets IMO. We got AA for a cheap price. Flipped #11 into both G.Harris & Nurkic. Two players who were mocked too us frequently at 11. Shaw also said he expects everybody to be back healthy when training camp rolls around which is the biggest addition.

Melo comment is kinda irrelevant. Don't know if it's because we didn't skip a beat without him right after but Nuggets fans really don't seem to care. Yeah we've never won a title, and have been playoff fodder but up until this season we had the second longest playoff streak behind S.A since '03. We should be back in the playoffs again this season.

Like Denver is Los Angeles or New York? If it were, Melo would probably still be a mile high. Mike Miller is obviously at the point of his career where he's trying to get another championship. Cleveland gives him a modest chance, and he gets to reunite with LBJ, whom he has been vocal about teaming up with again. Miller to Denver doesn't make them contenders. Love to Denver probably wouldn't make them contenders.

LeBron obviously why he went?

Not sure why he wanted to play for Denver in the first place. Super deep team filled with players everywhere, why risk getting glued to the bench on a team that has no shot at a championship? Isn't he already getting paid by Miami too? on the backside of his career, makes sense.

Good choice for both sides IMO.

I could have sworn I read he wasn't going to be back but watched a summer league game Shaw did an interview and said he expects everybody back healthy and talked about how Gallo was sending him videos.

Seems like he'll be ready to go.

Melo says he is a knick at heart and we don't sign miller? This is a bad week for us? I'll take it. :oldlol:

Lol ! I'm thrilled we didnt ovepay for mike when we already have a better miller on the bench

And who gives a shit about melo? He once again proved that money beats all in this world. Wouldn't want that mentality on our team

I'm liking this Nuggets team for this upcoming season, last season was looking ok until we were demolished by injuries.

I don't expect them to win it all, but i reckon we will be in there to mix it up. I can hope we win though haha

Not to mention Doug McDermott dropping 30+ on us after trading him away. I know it's just summer league, but it still made me :lol

This is what they get for firing a great man and a great coach, George Karl.

Sure we can

The reason we didn't make the playoffs last year was not because of losing Karl.
