View Full Version : Are y'all ready for the next big 3 and possible HUGE 4?

Lebron, Irving, and Love. If Wiggins stays, add him to the mix to create a HUGE 4. Wiggins, IMO, will be an elite defender from day one and eventually a star in the league.

:facepalm

Just when we thought the super team thing was done, it is back with an even younger and fresher group of stars. :facepalm

Horrible for the league, especially the east. Cake walk to the finals.

Damn, why can't stars compete AGAINST eachother anymore?

I guess the 2004 & 2012-13 Lakers were never a "Big 3" or "Big 4"

They're not gonna get Love without giving up Wiggins and if Flip really wanted Wiggins, he'd have taken the #1 pick when Cleveland offered it at the draft.

Lakers haven't had a big 3 since the 80's. Malone and Payton were on their last legs in 04, and it was the big 2 of Kobe and Pau 2012-13.

Kobe, Nash, Dwight, Pau

all of them have serious playoff experience and 3/4 had been to the finals

Compared to LeBron, who is going to be carrying a bunch of young dudes who haven't accomplished anything

But sure LeBron's Cleveland cast is better because he has Kyrie, who led the Cavs to 33 wins, and Wiggins, who hasn't stepped on an NBA court in his life

Pau was done being elite on any level 4 years ago. Dwight quit and was injured.

I don't even mention Bennett, but he's in the best shape of his life and will be much better. I'm sure he'll be sent in the package for Love, though.

Love to Cleveland is a guarantee.

Nash was 39, played 13 games or something. Dwight was coming off of Back surgery and had a ***** ass attitude all season. Pau was turned into a perimeter player by D'antoni.

Being a number 1 draft picks makes someone a quality star caliber NBA player? Olawakandi, Kwame Brown ring any bells?

Bennett is garbage. Kyrie is very good, inconsistent, and often injured. Hasn't led his team to the playoffs yet. This team has potential. But it isn't near the same as the cowardly move in 2010 that virtually guaranteed Finals trips on proven superstar, MVP caliber talent supporting cast.

The move LeBron made gives hope for a more positive future than Miami, but on the Heat he had more win now talent, and experience. Let's not kid ourselves. He's going back to a team where he's the unequivocal leader. Both vocally, and talent wise.

Be honest with yourselves. Wade's been held back by injury, and the designated sidekick role. It wasn't that long ago that dude was going 26/6/6 and 22/5/5. With great defense. Hell this year on less than 35 mpg he was putting up 19 ppg on 55% FG.

No one on this Cavs teams is close to that, or proven they can do that.

Completely different situation here than LeBron, Wade and Bosh all joining together in Miami. LeBron is going to a team with players who aren't stars yet. And it's playing in a city this time that has real fans who appreciate LeBron. These fans won't show up late to games and leave early when the team is losing.

I'm fine with what's going on with the Cavs. I'm not going to become a huge LeBron fan. I still think he's overrated. But I hated him on the Heat with the "big 3". Miami sucks, Wade sucks, Pat Riley sucks.

Me too. Ashame because I used to love Wade pre 2011. Always hated Riley, he's slimey. Like a jew, or whop. Always hated Miami. We've been kicking their ass for years prior to the cowardly three ordeal.
