Fully expecting Houston to match on Chandler Parsons, Dallas moving ahead with plan B: Luol Deng or Trevor Ariza, league sources say.

Who's his next target since he's likely to miss out on Parson's now? Deng? Ariza? (NVM, just saw you edited original post with these two added as targets)

I'd bet Morey will wait till just before the deadline to match on Parson's too, just to get Cuban back and tie up his money for those extra couple days.

you cant say cuban lost this 100%

houston has a super shitty parsons contract and they have basically no bench at all, if one of the 5 starters gets injured during the playoffs

bye bye

didn't Cuban try to go after Harden too? If so then no wonder he hates Houston. Morey has been owning his ass

parson's contract is for 3 years, parsons will likely opt out in 2. the rockets were capped out with or without parsons once they sign bosh so matching parsons now is a no brainer. the rockets were planning to pay the luxury anyways, it's just now 15/year instead of 10-12/yr for parsons. 2 years of paying the luxury tax for a contender is not a big deal to Les.

cuban is playing checkers while morey is playing chess.

see ya!

be funny if both deng and ariza were off the market before their money was untied from forcing houston's hand on parsons.

I don't get why people are criticizing Cuban. He saw a window of opportunity for Parsons and took it. No risk, nothing personal, just business. Deng appears to be in no hurry to sign anywhere so he will likely be available.

And at the end of the day, Cuban put together a team that beat the big 3 and won a ring. :confusedshrug:

Right now Morey has done a great job but he is just a paper champion until the Rockets win something.
