The most interesting thing about this is that Kobe has more rings than like 2/3 of those guys, and he hasn't had a big 3.

thats true, but when u look at the big 3s of other teams, whether it is magic, bird, duncan or whomever, its obvious they were the best player of the 3

u cant be counting titles when there's a player even better and more dominant than kobe... kobe going off for 30 ppg is what they want. teams let kobe shoot, they let them have it all day. what they didnt want was shaq killing them and getting all of their bigs in foul trouble

btw... we are "defining" simply by naming the top 3 players of any champion run and calling it a BIG 3... so... kobe + odom + gasol?

and dont be so disrespectul to gasol. kobe missed the playoffs and couldnt get out of the first round as the number 1 option. ALSO, keep in mind he was at his absolute peak... and this is the dude u guys calling a top 10 player?

He was actually part of a big 4 (higher than 3)

Kobe, D12, Gasol, Nash

They had won a marvelous 45 games and the big 4 were swept out of the 1st round in epic melt down fashion. Congrats, Kobe!

Welcome to the sport of NBA, my 2014 user. Basketball has a rich history, dating back further than 2014, and in fact, Kobe did have a "big 3." If you can turn the clocks back to a time where you did not watch basketball, you would know this. For you see, in 2013 he was actually part of a big 4 (higher than 3)

Weird that some dumb idiots bring up "getting swept out of the first round" to disparage Kobe... when Kobe didn't play in that series.

Haters are so desperate these days. And it also isn't relevant to the thread. Not sure why some people think they can somehow relate Kobe to every topic. Must be obsessive compulsive disorder. Seek help.

u mean in 2013? no one ive seen says anything... in any case, the damage was already done when they were like 12-28 at one point

him getting injured saved his legacy since we cant hold the lakers end of the season against him

Yeah, give me Jordan, Pippen and Rodman.

All day every day, are you kidding me. What other comparable trio is there, anyway?

I'll take the greatest scorer, greatest second option and wing defender, and the greatest rebounder and defender for 400, Alex.
