Jordan - 6
Duncan - 3
Shaq -3
Magic - 3
LeBron - 2
Kobe - 2
Olajuwon- 2
Bird- 2
Kareem -2
Russell (wasnt around that time so cant be ranked)
Wilt- 1
You shouldnt get any credit for going on along the ride with a stacked team and great organisation. Leading a team to a championship is much more impressive.
Why is Jordan the GOAT imo? Because of his huge FMVP lead over other guys (especially Kareem)

yes and no...it matters the most, but the other accolades are needed for objectivity as well as accounting for abysmal failures, too.
if we left it as just FMVPs, we are saying Pierce and TP are just as good/impactful as Wilt...definitely need MOAR!!! :D

Wilt would've won in 67 if the award existed too (started in 69).
But yeah, media awards are bush.

That's also why, a dude won 11 rings and they didn't even have the award back then. He could have topped Jordan by 2-3 Finals MVP's for all we know

ThaRegul8r and a few others broke it down a few months ago and settled on 7. Heinsohn would win in 57, Havlicek in 68 (as well as in 69 if it went to a player on the winning team), Sam Jones in 64.

imo top 10 lists should be a combination of FMVP + stats
of course there are some outliers like Wilts overrated stats, but that is a good measure
1. Jordan
2. Magic
3. Kareem
4. Wilt
5. Shaq
6. Duncan
7. LeBron
etc

doesnt FMVP imply rings fakkit?
beta is being a sidekick for championships by having more sidekick rings than FMVP
