There are no less than 3830 pages on the nba forum, each holds 40 threads, which leads to 153.200 threads made since 2006 in the Inside of Hoops. Approximately 97% are about this special top 10 list. If it weren't for this ranking ish would be a ghost town and ad revenue wouldn't be enough to keep the servers running. Appreciate, don't hate.

Sort of breaks my heart when Hakeem is excluded on lists. He was easily the best player in only his second year in the league on a team that walloped the defending champ Showtime Lakers and fought a competitive six game series against one of the GOAT squads in the '86 Celtics, then that team utterly implodes before the ASBreak the following season and he goes almost the rest of his entire physical prime without a contending team and worse, a coach that advocates and stresses offensive balance irregardless of whether the pieces are there to make it functional. The offense wasn't even run through him to utilize his talent to the fullest extent until Rudy Tomjonavich was put in place full time and it correlated beautifully with the rebuilding efforts and Hakeem squashing his beef with the FO; they catch a raw deal in Seattle that year with Olajuwon playing out of his ass in the playoffs, then he wins his first the following year with 0 All-Star teammates as the only to take MVP, DPOY and FMVP in the same season. The second leading scorer on the Rockets team put up an astounding 13.8 ppg on 38% throughout the playoff run. He badly outplays positional rival and fellow HOF Patrick Ewing.

Following season he takes the lowest seeded team ever to win a title and repeats, coming back from 2-1 (best of five) and 3-1 series deficits without HCA then utterly demolishes positional H2H rival and fellow HOF David Robinson (also the league's MVP that season and a former DPOY) putting up 35/12/5/4 on 56% shooting before sweeping out Shaq/Penny-led Magic in the Finals, dropping 30+ every game. Had to go through the teams that put up the four best regular season records en route to another title. All in All, goes 9-1 in elimination games from 93-95 and showed up Huge in virtually all of them.

fake word spotted.

Irrespective*

Happy?

Anyway, 93-95 Olajuwon on par with any modern era player there's ever been. The responsibility put on his back was simply absurd.

Except for the obvious part its actually not a bad list, i mean the order of the 10 obligatory players in top 10 differs for every fan somewhat, dunno about that order he went after, but at least he got the 9 out 10 correct players in.... not to bad... considering its Jabbar, its an improvement, he at least didnt remove/decrease Jordan... :P
