The San Antonio Spurs, playing at home Thursday in an absurdly hot arena that had a broken air conditioning system ...

Come on, Jeff. Not you too. How is that the lead story of this game? Everyone was playing in the same conditions.

Not everyone was affected the same way. It's a fair point. :confusedshrug:

It may be worth noting... not in the lead. How do we know that James wouldn't have been cramping up had the AC been working perfectly? What was the on-floor temperature against OKC when the same thing happened a couple years ago?

The heat in the arena is only the lead story because that's what ESPN focused their entire broadcast on in the final five minutes.

Do people forget that Tony Parker missed a solid amount down the stretch too?

He's a genetic freak, superhuman. A basketball player from the planet Krypton, indestructible. Amazing feats of strength, speed, quickness, leaping ability.

Until the temperture is hot. And he gets cramps.

No A/C = LeBron's Kryptonite.

Oh please. The heat was the story of the game on every website. It would be nonsensical to say otherwise, no matter who had won.

It's definitely a reasonable assumption to say that the cramps in their severity were because of the conditions. You want a statistician to run a statistical analysis or something? :oldlol:

The Heat was the lead story because it changed rotations, wasted timeouts, and clearly affected the most relevant man in basketball.

But you wanna talk about it not being the lead? :oldlol:

The heat level of the arena was a big part of the night. It would be ridiculous to not mention it. Tim Duncan said it was the hottest arena he's played in his entire NBA career.

this is like watching a dunk contest

because who here thinks that even had the AC been turned on, Lebron still may have had a cramp. And if he had a cramp with or without the AC, he would still be taken out of the game.

Go with a 10 if you agree.

OK, but that has nothing to do with interviewing LeBron about his cramp.

:confusedshrug:

Cause bosh let him have literally 5 or 6 uncontested layups

I really don't care about the Heat. Everyone had to play in it, if it effect different players more than others, oh well, should've ate more bananas or drank some more coconut water.
