The NBA has fined Indiana's Lance Stephenson $10,000 for violating flopping rule in Game 5.

https://vine.co/v/MdrW5AEHrmt :lol

edit: Hibbert apparently too

Also, Roy Hibbert fined $5,000 for a Game 5 flop against the Heat.

Not sure on the legal aspect of these fines and how they relate to the CBA or anything else.... but can the players that are fined fight these fines, in a sense, by showing video of players like Paul, Lebron, Griffin, Manu, etc, flopping and NOT being fined?

If I were Stephenson, I'd be totally happy/content with paying the 10k if I could drag other floppers down with me.

Just a silly fine/rule to have, if it's not enforced universally.

in court you can use rulings on others cases but you can't do anything if there wasn't even a case. He would have to go to court against NBA for fining him and not others.
Nothing is enforced universally in any american sport so i have no idea why you are only mad at flopping fines because if things like these were taken to court then jazz could say that Jordan should have been called for offensive foul for the last shot against them using some example where some other player was called for an offensive foul for the same thing.

I would have only fined him 5k if it weren't for him blowing in LeBron's ear.

"Mad" about flopping fines because they are retroactively applied. League looks at video and judges. Calls are made "in the heat of the moment".

As for the paragraph about court, I may have misworded my vent. I more meant Lance could send video of others flopping (all videos since flopping fines began), along with fine totals, or lackthereof, of the players in question. Or just have a meeting with whomever decides on fines. I didn't mean a legit court battle. Something more similar to how Cuban used to send (still does?) video of poor/biased reffing.

why even make this account when you can't even troll properly? fine increases everytime you get fined for flopping in playoffs.

No shit, they were trying so hard to foul Lebron out from start to finish by any means necessary and it worked since he had to be benched anyways.... Lance, George and the rest of the Pacer squad almost flopped Lebron out of the game (thats how he got almost all fouls).... if those calls would be no calls they would recieved multiple flop fines...

Lebron left in the 1st qtr with foul trouble, came in 2nd quarter for a couple of seconds, George then headdive flopped infront of Lebron (moving & everything, it was a clear block, but nope, off. foul on Lebron) and he got back to the bench immediately..... Lebron then started the 3rd, Lance does his thing, Lebron foul again, immediately in the bench again.....

Pacers despite essentially fouling Lebron out still played pretty horrible and Heat had a chance to put the game away in the 4th and choked.

This game was absurd on so many levels,

IMO his worst flop of the game. This was the possession where Bron blocked Hill's layup attempt.

brb flopping instead of running the break
brb holding back Hibbert and pushing Hibbert's arm away
