I told everyone for months that this guy was on a strict training regime with the GOAT trainer Tim Grover to prepare him for the playoffs and specifically this series, for him to emerge and play at an all-star level. Wade has almost always come through when his team has needed him, he has proven he can step up when it matters and be clutch when it matters. I am not a Heat fan but this guy deserves his props. He is having a great series, and the Heat will win as a direct result of his efforts.

For anyone thought he was "done" or "washed up", take your L. He did what he needed to do to be great when it matters.

Oh yeah. And he only needed to take the reg season and first two rounds off to come back and have the legendary playoff series he's currently having.

24 PPG!!!

I give Wade all the credit in the world. He is playing like a champion. 3 straight great games. He is much healthier and better than he was last year in the playoffs.

Now Bosh on the other hand.....please opt out and never return to Miami.

On 62% shooting, against the best defensive team in the league, while playing great defense, and being dominant in the 4th.

Wade is getting into the paint at will, this is difference between LBJ/Wade and Durant/Westbrook.

Wade knows his game. He picks his spots. He doesn't force it and takes over when he needs to. Westbrook makes a lot of bad decisions. Wade is also a really good defender and one of the best 2 way players in the league. Wade is a better 2 way player than Westbrook IMO when healthy.

Yep and Lebron is better two player than Durant, this is why it's such a difficult matchup for OKC when they are guarding each other.

He hasn't played all ****ing year, of course he is going to be amazing in the playoffs. That was the whole point of sitting him out.

Single coverage? Pacers defense is always rotating and helping. Against the Pacers, if you are attacking the paint, you are meeting multiple bodies, and having to convert tough shots.

But let me guess... is this mythical 'focus of the defense' label the reason Kobe shot 6-24?

Wade is a Finals MVP he has more experience a more polished game and a better understanding of the game. Of course he is a better player than WB when both are healthy.

Why is this thread being bumped? It's been nearly two years and Wade is still playing at a high level. We all know he struggled in the 2014 finals, as did every Heat player except Lebron. If anything Wade is playing MUCH better now than most would have predicted after that series. A lot of people said he was finished, but here he is at nearly 34 and still among the most productive SG's in the league.

Wade had his one bad finals of his career at 32 years old. What was Lebron's excuse in his prime?
