Ibaka with 5 fouls with 5 mins to go
Only semblance of size OKC has
Cannot guard Griffin under no circumstances
Chris Paul: Let me take some pull ups /pass to Jamal Crawford.

I thought Doc would make 'em force feed Blake the rest of the game. Surprised he didn't really demand the ball down the stretch. I also thought Crawford called his own # a bit too much tonight when he shouldn't have.

He's had like 3 times as long but gotten as far as Lillard and Wall

did you see that halftime interview?
They brought up durant saying there are friends off the court and he got pissy because of some scuffle or some shit.
the dude is such a bitch :oldlol:

This has always been the problem with Chris Paul. He'll have one game where he absolutely dominates the 4th quarter and takes over the game offensively. Then you'll have 9 other games like tonight where he's basically invisible in the 4th and plays passively.
Makes no sense, but this is why Chris Paul will never be a winner.

It pains me that this guy might not get out of the second round in his All-NBA years. The one year he has a great cast, he's in the most stacked conference in NBA history.

He didn't want to talk about his friendship off the court in the middle of the game- is that really that bad though? It was a dumb question and he gave a non-useful response to Adande. I feel like if any other player said something along the lines of "I don't care what he said out there" then they would get praised on ISH for their "competitive spirit."

Thread is stupid af, but Paul needs to quit with this overly passive bullshit. The Clippers lost momentum because he kept deferring to Crawford possession after possession, watching him brick shot after shot, when he could have took the game over himself smh. He'll take over next game tho.

Paul was incredible throughout. However, I do agree that they should have gone to the post. The small line-up was surprisingly effective, though maybe its because Brook plays like a big on D.

Yea.. Paul can be frustrating to watch because he is overly inconsistent (not with his efficiency, but his style and approach). Dude needs to find more of a medium where he looks to score and create for his teammates.
Staying aggressive is key

he also hates white people, thats why reddick sometimes doesnt get the ball for ten + minutes and jamal, the perfect average nikka gets it when he doesnt even want it.

Not enough hate for Jamal chucker, i'd deck that dude if I were a teammate. If JR wasn't a dumb POS Jamal would be a getting a lot of heat for his chuckery.
Also Chris Paul is past his prime,he can't take over every game down the stretch because....he just cant. CP3 pre-knee injury was a beast.
Better than Jeremy Lin :oldlol:

Crawford deserves most of the blame, but Paul could've been more aggressive down the stretch.
In general though, it's more of an indictment of the ball-dominant PG in general than CP3.

Well, when someone gets labeled the most intelligent PG in the league, you expect him to have some brain cells in the 4th.

Westbrook is making him work on both ends, can't expect him to waste energy guarding him on post ups/drives then hit shots when being guarded by that same 6'3 athletic freak with help defense from Ibaka. Paul played 42 hard minutes yesterday, at the end of games he looks gassed from Westbrook's pressure.
I just hope people start overrating Paul, especially his defense. Boxscores make him look like a God but in real games his actual impact doesn't measure up. Now if this was 2008 Paul he would clearly be "Best PG in the league". But nowadays Westbrook is just as good if not better. Then you have guys like Parker/Lilard/Curry/Wall that can be better at any given day. PG position is the most stacked in NBA.

The people who are "overrating" him say he's the best PG in the league and a top 5 player. Has he not been playing like that? 23/12 against a top 3 team in the league isn't top 5 play?
What players are playing better than him?

Collison, Redick, Dudley, and Grangery chucked and played terrible. CP3 despite being passive, played great.
